Adrian Hayes
International Student Collaboration Day 2020 will be celebrated on AFNORTH International School with a special program. Theme of the day is “Who am I? Who are We?”.

The day will feature workshops by recordbreaking adventurer Adrian Hayes, kids mindfulness expert Clem Studmore and diverse sessions prepared by Elementary International Year Group teams, with handson activities, team building and workshops; developing inquiry based projects. Theme of the day will be: “Who am I? Who are we?”

Former Army Officer and Special Forces soldier, Adrian Hayes has conquered the ‘three poles’ of the Earth – Everest, K2 and the North and South Poles. He has travelled the length of Greenland by kite-ski and the Arabian Desert by camel amidst a lifetime of adventure; setting two Guinness World Records, writing two books, and featuring in three documentaries to date. Adrian is also an ambassador for economic, social & environmental sustainability.
Motivational speaker, Adrian aims to both inspire but also impart some concrete learning, lessons, tools and techniques gained from his unique, varied and vast experience that students can use in their own lives.

Workshops:

  • 9:10 – 10:20 for Grades 6 – 9
  • 12:40 – 13:50 for Grades 10-12
