AFNORTH International School nominated for the International School Awards 2020

De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms, London

AFNORTH International School has been nominated for the International School Awards, in the one of the new categories this year: ‘Initiative to support ethical values education.’

The International School Awards celebrate learning, teaching, community, pastoral care, leadership and strategic initiatives at international schools. They provide the opportunity for international schools to share best practice, creative endeavours, community participation, and innovation.

Over 250 initiatives, many of an exceedingly high standard, were nominated this year for a range of categories to highlight some of the best practices in international school learning, teaching and leadership. New awards for this year recognise school initiatives to support the development of future thinking innovators, the environment, and ethical values education. One of the criteria that schools were judged on this year was whether the initiative could be shared with other schools, locally or globally.

All the shortlisted schools and their initiatives will be celebrated at the ceremony on 20th January in London, when winners of the 12 awards will be announced. In addition, an overall International School of the Year award will be selected from the schools winning the individual categories.

The ISAs 2020 are hosted by ISC Research with the support of International School Leader Magazine, which will feature the award-winning initiatives throughout its issues in 2020. The event will be held on Monday 20th January 2020 at the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms, London. More information is available on the ISL Magazine website.
