International Directorate

The International Directorate will coordinate the admission process for parents/guardians of children, who are non-entitled with a military affiliation. This group are classed as “International Tuition Fee Paying’ and includes students from non-owning nations stationed at local military and NATO bases and students who are non-entitled with a commercial affiliation, including international parents working in local corporations.

International Tuition Fee Paying students may apply for admission in one of the owning nations’ sections, subject to meeting that country’s entry regulations and if appropriate, subject to approval of the Dutch Tax Authority.

To initiate an application parents will need to:

  • Make an appointment with the Directorate Secretary who can be found in the Directorate Office based on the third floor or contacted by telephone or email listed below.
  • Arrange for a tour of the school.
  • Submit a completed Non-Entitled Student Application Form to the Directorate Secretary.
  • Complete page 1, and with complete academic records, the student is directed to the appropriate person in the National Section.
  • The National Section determines whether a position will be offered to a non-entitled student according to the National Admission Policy. This decision is based on program and space availability.
  • Once a National Section has made a determination, they will inform the Directorate whether or not a non-entitled student will be offered a position in their section and parents are notified as soon as this decision has been made.
  • Non-entitled commercial affiliation applicants must also have approval from the Dutch Customs Authority which is processed through the Directorate Secretary.
  • All sections of the Application Form must be completed and Fees will need to be paid before the start of school.
  • The Finance Manager for the Directorate will issue the invoices and oversee the payments of Tuition Fees.
