2023 Air Force & Navy European Drill Championships

Congratulations to the AFNORTH Air Force JROTC Drill Team!

The AFNORTH Air Force JROTC Drill team took 2^nd Place in the 2023 Air Force & Navy European Drill Championships this past weekend at SHAPE, Belgium.  The smallest team in this eight-team OPEN DIVISION tournament edged out Kaiserslautern for 2^nd place and was close behind cross-border rival SHAPE for the first-place position.

The AFNORTH team competed in seven different team events: 

1. 1^st place in the 30 Drill Sequence commanded by Lauren B.
2. 2^nd place Armed Exhibition commanded by Ethan L. “selected as Armed X Top Commander”
3. 2^nd place Color Guard #1 commanded by Gray B.
4. 3^rd place Unarmed Regulation commanded by Gray B.
5. Armed Regulation commanded by Gray B.
6. Team Inspection commanded by Ronnie M.
7. Color Guard #2 commanded by Philipp B.
