On Wednesday, September 2023, 2 athletes of Team UK who contested in the Invictus Games 2023, visited the youngest pupils of AFNORTH International School who did not go the Dusseldorf Germany.
The Invictus Games Foundation offers a recovery pathway for international wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women (WIS). We collaborate to provide opportunities for post-traumatic growth: enabling those involved to reclaim their purpose, identity and future, beyond injury.

Claudine Martin took part in the 400m running, and although she did not win, the biggest challenge for Claudine was participating and believing in herself. Allan McSween participated in the relay (bronze medal), the 400m and 200m running (both gold).
