Moving school is a big decision and can be quite stressful especially if you are moving from overseas. Each National Section and the International Directorate Office are here to do everything we can to help your child’s smooth transition.
Our School offers places for 900+ students aged between 3 and 18 registered in four National Sections. In total we have students from around 22 different nationalities. A visit to our school is strongly encouraged as we are always keen to meet families to discuss whether a student’s needs and aspirations can be supported and a meeting with a member of the Senior Management Team from any of the four Nations can be arranged.
AFNORTH International School is a Dutch Foundation established around its innovative, ambitious, dynamic international community and provides education for children of active duty military from United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany. This group of students are classed as ‘entitled’ to attend AIS.
We have a number of admissions on a space available basis for children from a NATO or DoD background stationed in the area and for children located in the area for commercial reasons. Commercial students are required to get permission from the NL Douane for these enrolments. Local Dutch children, however, are required to attend Dutch schools.
If you work for the Department of Defense of one of the four founding nations, please register your children directly with your National Section offices. There is no Tuition Fee for this Group (entitled). Please click on the National Section of choice below for further guidance on admission and registration.
All other internationally registered students are required to pay a Tuition Fee. To initiate enrolment, download the International Application Form for non-entitled students below, fill it out and send it to the International Directorate. You can find the links below.
