Campus Facilities

Located on a spacious and green 10-acre area in South Limburg, Netherlands our campus provides imaginative and safe play areas for younger children and a tranquil outdoor oasis for our senior students.

The school is housed in a unique and exceptionally well designed building that by its very design promotes international values and ways of working collaboratively together. The building continues to celebrate the creation of a host of refurbished facilities and the redevelopment of existing buildings.  Our national sections circulate around an airy central ‘Hub’ with four adjoining colour-coded ‘Pod areas, which are used to access various specialist areas for the early years, the arts, technology, sports and sciences.

The main dining hall, international ‘Pod’ areas, science labs and all bathroom facilities have recently been renovated, upgraded, and/or refurbished.

Classrooms are spacious places for students to learn and all have now been furnished with state of the art SMART interactive technology. Along with access to the latest wireless technological learning tools, students can also access a modernised School Library and specialist medical facilities staffed by qualified medical professionals.

Sporting facilities include ample space for multi-purpose athletics plus four newly refurbished sports halls and changing rooms, that compliment an extensive floodlight soccer and football pitches and a four lane athletics track and fields. In addition, students benefit from the easy access to the JFC HQ swimming pool.

Included in our campus are imaginative and safe play areas for the younger pupils to explore, a designated Forest School area and a number of presentation and performance spaces including a main stage area and a mini gym.

Situated in front of the school building is Atalanta – Our Friendship Garden. This butterfly-shaped sensory garden is a place to explore, relax, read, reflect; encourage mindfulness and stimulate creativity. The garden is designed with a purpose of stimulating the senses; encouraged to touch, smell and interact with environment. It provides linked pathways, steppingstones and seating for individual and quiet group interaction and is also a teaching and learning resource for encouraging mathematics, science, language and the arts.
