Dear Parents,
Based on the new German regulation and restrictions for cross-border commuting, (anticipated to be in place until 2 May 2021), daily commuters in the region, including AIS families, face significant problems in attending school. The Board of Governors has met and agreed that AIS will start school after the Easter break in remote status and remain in remote learning until further developments allow for a return to face-to-face education. We will be monitoring this situation and hope that it will be resolved quickly. National sections will be in contact with you regarding further details.
